Hello everyone. Welcome to Sign1News. I’m Jethro Wooddall. Here are your top stories for today. The White House has released what they classified
as “not a verbatim transcript” of the July 25th phone call between President Trump and
the president of Ukraine. The transcript of the call shows Trump asked
President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son
Hunter over dealings with Ukraine’s private gas company. Trump asked Zelensky to work with his personal
attorney Rudy Giuliani and Attorney General Bill Barr. The transfer shows that Trump told Zelensky
that the US has been “very, very good” to the country before asking for the favor. This transcript was released one day after
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry against Trump. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi made a statement
saying, “The president must be held accountable. No one is above the law.” House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy made a statement
saying, “Speaker Pelosi happens to be the speaker of the house. But she does not speak
for America when it comes to this issue.” Zelensky denied Trump pressured him over anything
saying, “Nobody can pressure me because I’m the president of an independent Ukraine. There
is only one person that can pressure me and it’s 6-year-old son.” President Trump has classified his conversation
on that July phone call as “perfect” and that this impeachment inquiry is a “witch hunt.” Top e-cigarette maker Juul is changing leadership
amid the vaping crisis. The company announced Wednesday that CEO Kevin
Burns will be replaced by K.C. Crosthwaite, who worked with tobacco company Altria. Juul also said it will stop all TV, print

reports 530 cases of lung injury and nine deaths. For Android and iOS users eagerly awaiting
the launch of “Gmail dark mode” the wait is over. The new look flips the background in Gmail
from white to black. Google wrote in a blog post that the new theme
will start rolling out immediately. However, some users might not see the feature
for 15 days or more. Why dark mode? Some people find it easier on the eye and
Google says it helps extend battery life because it uses less power. The move is part of a trend. Dark mode has become popular on several platforms
and devices, including Twitter and on products by Samsung, Google, Apple. According to multiple reports, Facebook is
also testing a dark mode. The company Canoo wants to sell the world’s
first subscription-only electric vehicle. They describe it as a “lounge on wheels.” And promote that you don’t own the car. Instead, you pay a set monthly fee like a
Netflix or Amazon Prime membership. That price hasn’t been released yet but according
to the website, a waiting list will open soon. The California based start-up said the Canoo
will have traffic-based cruise control, automatic braking, lane keeping assistance and other
high-tech features. Production is expected to begin in 2021. Get ready for a whole lot of cuteness overload. A whole pack of newborn baby panda cubs were

mark the 70th anniversary since the People’s Republic of China was founded, which happens
October 1. But there’s even more cuteness, the facility
