How To Learn Sign Language

Learn ASL Signs: Vocabulary Practice #2

Hey, Grammar day. You love it. I know. Don’t lie. Okay. Dokey. First, I’m going to show you a movie clip. Right. So, you’re gonna watch it. You’re going to see it, understand what’s happening and going on. Then I’m gonna show you the sentence is gonna sign it. Up. Up, up, up, up. Right. Then, each part of the sentence we’re gonna label, like time, topic, comment, action, referent. You know that kind of stuff. All right. Okay. Dokey. So, it’s gonna help you to understand better, see what’s happening in the sentences and grammar. You’re going to see the picture and the sentences and how it matches, and it’s gonna help you understand it better. All right. Have fun. Okay, Dokey. That’s all for today. I and I have a worksheet down in the description box below that you can get for free. And it’s got the sentences from this video on here so you can read it and practice it. You watch the video, and then yourself. You can sign the sentences from the video. Okay, doke. All right. Thank you so much for watching. You are the best. My favorite. Thank you so much. Bye.

  • My most marvelous ASL professor 35 years ago taught us that "Language tends towards economy!" And of course it would with ASL , so try to be flexible instead of declaring it had to be the way you learned it, gosh darn it!! I'm not in a position to use it often anymore because of illness and disability. Don't get out much! I really enjoy your videos! Thanks! 💓💛💚💙💜
