Namaskaram (Hello) At times, cells level decreases in our body or suddenly the weight drops. For all these problems, there is a yoga mudra (gesture), which is very effective. If you practice this regularly then it will stop your weight loss and gradually bring your weight back to normal and if you practice this for months and years then this mudra (gesture) helps even a skinny person to bring his weight to normal. To practice this mudra (gesture) you need to touch the top of your thumb with the top of your ring finger, then you can keep it on your knees or can do it while walking or standing. This should be practiced for at least 15 minutes and a maximum of 45 minutes either in one stretch or in parts. Many people ask about the duration of the gesture that’s why I’m giving details. Now, lets discuss about the benefits of this Mudra (gesture). Firstly, if somebody’s weight is suddenly and rapidly dropping due to the side effects of some medicines or high stress level then, this mudra (gesture) will help in gaining weight again. Secondly, if white blood cells or red blood cells have been decreased and levels are not improving. This mudra (gesture) will help in such cases also. Sometimes blood platelets start to decrease. You must understand that it is an earth gesture and will help in increasing Earth element in body. When earth element will increase, it will strengthen the body. Even if the person is skinny, he will start feeling sturdiness and strength in muscles and bones from within with the help of this gesture. Also, if somebody has low calcium in body, due to which his bones often make crackling sound, which is called ‘calcium deficiency’. In other words, this is also called ‘bones degeneration’ or ‘Osteoporosis’ in which, the bones become hollow and edgy because of the deficiency of calcium and lack of Earth element. Earth Gesture helps a lot in curing all these problems. It will boost strength and vigor of your body and will develop body stamina. This gesture is also very useful for people who always feel weakness. This can be done any time during the day or even while doing yoga. So this was all about Earth Gesture. In the next video we’ll talk about the ‘Sun Gesture’ which is helpful in reducing the weight. That’s all for today.   • As per my understanding by doing Prithvi mudra for 45 minutes will help to increase vitamin and also to gain weight for any person (both the benefits). Just wanted to know if person is already overweight but has vitamin deficiency then how prithvi mudra should be performed?
